Mr. Ellingson brings over 25 years of corporate strategy and industry experience to Equity Technology Partners. As CEO, Mr. Ellingson is responsible for managing the firm's portfolio as well as offering expertise in corporate strategy, product development/commercialization, IP protection and global licensing, channel management and structuring strategic investments to foster innovation.
Previously, Mr. Ellingson served as the U.S. National Manager for the Global Technology, Media & Telecommunications Business Innovation Group at Deloitte. While at Deloitte, he advised numerous Fortune 500 and international companies on strategic investment, intellectual asset management, product development and expansion into emerging markets. His client-base included companies such as Bank of America, Lockheed-Martin, AT&T, Microsoft, Motorola, IBM, Lenovo, Johnson & Johnson, Hauwei, Qualcomm, SK Group, Motorola, and government entities such as the DoD, DoE, Reserve Bank of India, NATO and the US National Research Labs.
Mr. Ellingson has an MBA in Economics and Finance from the Babcock School of Business at Wake Forest University, as well as dual degrees in Economics and Marketing from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. He is also an alumnus of the University of Southern California’s Center for Telecom Management Advanced Management Training and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Creating & Sustaining Innovative Organizations. |
