Joseph M Quattlebaum
Mr. Quattlebaum is a senior executive with over 30 years experience as an operating executive and investor, with a background that includes executive positions with two major global technology companies. He has built and led multi-nation sales teams that generated annual revenues exceeding $1.2 Billion, for technology-based software, hardware and services offerings. He brings a record of extensive success and expertise in enterprise sales, C-level marketing relationship management, alliance negotiations, venture funding and capital structure, Telecommunications & Utilities Industry marketing, application development & systems integration, outsourcing and off-shore software development. As Equitech’s Chief Operating Officer, he has P&L responsibility for the profitable expansion of consulting engagements and financial management of the organization.
Mr. Quattlebaum began his career in international banking, working for Bankers Trust of New York and Citizens & Southern National Bank. From banking, he then was with IBM for 20 years: key accomplishments included leading the global sales and service organization for IBM’s 8th largest commercial client, executive responsible for over 1,000 IBM authorized dealers and business partners, and executive responsible for establishing IBM’s outsourcing and systems integration business in the Telecom and Utilities industries. More recently, he led Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) outsourcing and systems integration efforts for Telecom & Utilities. His clients have included: AT&T, British Telecom, Verizon/GTE, Southern Company, Johnson Controls, Global Crossing, Entergy, Puget Sound Energy, FP&L, BellSouth, Texas Utilities, Qwest, Pacific Bell, Nortel, Tampa Electric, Atlanta Gas, SoCal Ed, CapGemini, Accenture, Citigroup, and Deutsche Telekom.
He is an alumnus of Williams College and has a MBA in International Finance from the University of South Carolina. |
